I believe they are making sure there are no issues since this is really a public beta test, with only a few people having two Hopper snaps.

Once they are satisfied with the test I am sure they will allow two. Remember these are devices meant to keep people as DISH customers... they are not going to hide them from people. They just want to make sure all is good. :)

I gave up and bought one. But Dish has nothing to gain from me. Every time they raised their price I dropped down until until now, I only have the Welcome pack and lots of streaming.

One of the friendly Dish retailer installers that I've talked to before was at my favorite restaurant for coffee when I stopped there this morning. I mentioned the "two Snaps" situation to him, and that I already had one but I can't test the fix until I get another one for my second H2. He said he'd see what he could do. An hour ago, I got a text from the restaurant owner that she had a "little pink package" there for me from the "Dish guy". I'll pick it up in the morning... :)

I noticed this morning that I can't view the DVR listings on one H2 from the other H2. Both H2's have the latest 721 version software installed. I'll look into that further later today...

I don’t believe that Is related to the snap. I only have one installed.

Updated software on 1 HWS.

Restarted the second hopper and all was good.

It’s a glitch to be sure. Just don’t know what’s causing it.

Both of my HWS's have been updated in the last two days. I've also restarted both of them since then. No change...

They're available to the public many different ways through dealers, ebay, etc. We put them on all Hopper 1 and Hopper 2 new customer and upgrade orders.

If you're asking when Dish is going to give them for free to existing customers then I have no idea if or even when.
