This what my 8 foot looks like now.

I used screen door kick plate. It has a natural curve if you lay dawn the right way. You can get this at Lowes or Home Depot. I no longer have the 6 footer. I got me an 8 footer that has the same extension panels on it. I will post a picture on my next post.

Hi guys, I am looking to purchase a new receiver and for awhile I have been looking at the LinkBox 8000HD. I have no idea how good this box is. Hoping someone here can give me the pros/cons about this unit.

I am not telling you that you should buy from them but I am a satisfied costumer. I got my dish delivered within 5 days after placing order. I had minimum damage with the shipment. It did not affect the dish performance.

Scott, have been able to work on the 8" dish from Tek2000?

Just out curiosity, getting a corotor ll plus is just the beginning. I do not believe I have everything that is require to run the corotor. My receivers are not equip to run the servo motor. I have the microHD and Manhattan receivers. I was looking at eBay and saw a corotor II for $119.00, that...

Now that I have put this dish together and I get great C band reception, What do I need to do get Ku? Is it weak at best. When I had my solid 6' I no problem getting Ku.

Well, I'm done putting the dish together. Here are 2 picture of what it looks like. I'm still having issue with LNBF cover...too tight. It is a heck of improvement from my 6".

Yes I did. Not on rim but instead 5.5" below the rim. I'll have to take the arms down, gently, and reposition them. Hopefully I won't F.......ed them in the process.

I did not see any holes them again I'm 68. Maybe my eye site has is play tricks on me. Anyways, how far down is the hole from joint? This is in case I can not find holes.

FTA4PA, Did you have any problems installing the lnbf arms? The reason is ask is because I can't find the holes to attach the arms to.

Well, it wasn't a bed of roses after all but I can live with it. Picture 4 and 5 shows the damage. Overall I'm satisfy with the out come. Long trip from Toronto to South Florida. One thing I did not was the instructions on how to put this thing together.

Well guys there it is. It came in today and it looks good as far as I can see. I'm planning on open it up tomorrow and check everything out.

I will let you guys know one way or the other.

I'm hoping that the dish I just ordered from TEK-2000 comes in one piece.

I had the same issue with my six footer. The panels weren't messed up but I was missing some nuts and bolts due to the damage to the shipping container. Great job UPS.

I am tempted to order one. Can't beat that price for an 8'. Is anyone here have anything good to say about this dish?

Has anyone knows how reliable these folks are? I have been trying to get info on the 2.4 C band dish and lnbfs and so for they have not answered my emails. It says on their website it will replay within 24hrs and that has not happen as of yet.

It is tempting since my wife and are going up to Carry, NC this weekend and normally I would not pass up on a free dish but, no can do. I still do not have the room.

I wish I could have a 10'. I just don't have the room in my back yard.
