Twist on connectors will work OK. Sometimes it takes a little extra work to get them nice and tight with a good connection. Wal-mart does sell bulk cable with no end...at least at my local store. I'm using a 100ft length from radio shack with premade ends from the preamp to the powersupply...

Thanks for all the help. I'm looking for the biggest and best antenna out there so I can get some of that free HDTV. I'll check out the one at antenna's direct... I might also need a preamp, I'm running 100ft of coax.

This is my old antenna. It seems to work better backwards (or at least I think it's backwards. The coax connection is toward the station. Should I just get rid of it and get a better one? thanks... Antenna Is this antenna good? I'm about 30-40 miles from the stations... Radioshack antenna
