I am a little bit embarrassed. I went back and replaced the new batteries with an old set I keep around and presto the remote started working again. I guess the new batteries weren't new after all.

This started happening a couple of weeks ago. I no longer can operate this unit using the IR. I have changed batteries, took the cover off and whipped it clean and nothing. I'm guessing I may have a dead remote. Any thoughts before I order a new remote?

I have been meaning to ask, How in the world can I do a hard reset when the micro does not respond to the remote commands? I too uploaded the new Satellite channel list via USB and had a similar problem. Thank god I have that USB/TTL with out it my receiver would be useless.

I must be doing something wrong. The only receiver that works right now with my setup (C/Ku dmx-741S)) is the Manhattan 1933. The microHD only works, and this is weired, if I use a DiSeqC switch. If I use separate dishes (C/Ku) using the 4x1 switch the micro does not miss a beat.

Let me be clear.. when I go from Sat A to Sat B it says is moving it but is not. Again, the Manhattan does move the dish the microHD doesn't. I upgraded the receiver via OTS just this morning. The problem started yesterday.

Yesterday I made the satellite changes to the udf file and saved it to USB. Did an upload and dead again. Today I restored the MicroHD using the USB/TTL. Once I got into the receivers menu I deleted all sats. I just finished inputing the C/Ku sats and my work is done.

Yes I did do a factory reset. I'm using the current firmware is version 16 dated 12/06/2012. I'm using the alieditor_for_microHD. The changes I'm trying to make is to AllCode.abs. I want to rearrange the C/Ku list.

I have done the same with the Manhattan but I must tell I Am a little gun shy since the last time I tried to make chances to the Micro.
