Someone is ignoring that the recommendations cost $40+ and the pictured antenna sells for upwards of $85. It may absolutely pencil out, but it certainly isn't free.

If you still have those remotes, they WILL work with the new receivers, though only in IR mode. I still use them myself with my Ho's to this day.

How does a poor mans hopper even begin to make sense when you can buy a hopper 3 with a joey 3 for bouts 65-70 smackers off of ebay. hoping it's clean after running the numbers🤔. atleast you can expand and upgrade the hopper 3 later on :)

i just brought there stuff into a fedex store and sent it back that way. agree with you that they should have just transfered they acct off of the att system on to the dtv sysem. but they told us that we needed to cancel and come back as new subs hmmmmm wich makes no sense to me as well!!! red...

direct told us 6 months gone before we could become new customers again right after we canceled. though the website let us get by as new subs interesting. i can't say i blame you for not wanting to sign a contract if your channels go missing your stuck with it!!!

I don't know about that, usually D* says you have to be gone for 6 or 12 months. Also, I was on Sat, this time I will more than likely be on Stream ... I refuse to sign a contract. I am really only trying to cover the YTTV / Disney dispute ... hopefully thats over real soon and I won't have...

i wonder if you can do that function by speaking into it just give it a date and time 🤔 :rolleyes. it does everything else. though alexa is better... i prefer alexa to work the hopper. the 54.0 is a great remote though

people are part of the problem it seems some of the poor csr's wern't trained well if at all... seems like alot of em were just thrown in a seat with a script in front of them with no training on how to run the computer systems. it's called cheap labor
