our joey 4 is blazing fast :).. our hopper is connected via an cat 6 cable i never use the wireless on it nor do i want to. i would have to compare em side by side though i bet it's fast since the H3 is faster... the verdict on the + has been if we have a smart tv we don't need the plus 🤔

Can't compare since he has the older Hopper with sling instead of Hopper 3, but I bet it is faster. I notice one thing that makes a difference that he pointed out to me. He uses an ethernet cord directly to the Hopper instead of wireless. He said it makes it more stable and it doesn't lose...

You should try the plus. It's not hard to disconnect and go back-someone posted the instructions here somewhere. I got it early on. I disconnected because 1) I already have a Roku Ultra,a Nividia Shield(which is the best) and a firestick. 2) I dont think it worked with my Harmony One...
