My 622 Hdmi died as well.....checked diagnostic and it revealed that the receiver stopped communicating with my sharp 26" lcd....total failure...just received refurb 622...will see hong this lasts...... rolou21.

Same here on both my 622 unit....but only one problem....these idiot engineeers still can't get this stupid app to work properly. If i click on the trigger icon, it brings me to the weather app (bottom blue screen with the maps) but both receivers lock up and freeze , have to press front power...

I too wish for the yes network and can't figure out why and how that sportsnet ny was added. It is no different than yes in regards to carriage fees. How does D* seems to add almost everything and not dish. Is dish really that cheap and then again because of these money grabbing programmers...

Since E* released that all important press release 2 months ago regarding immediate release for the lcoal on the 8's weather when the special trigger icon is enabled. I have (2) 622 receivers and have not seen this feature turned on yet? What was this press release for and why is it still...

It is amazing that the dish website still continues to advertise twc/ch. 214 when the trigger is active you can get your local weather. This has not been present since late July...Is this a difficult s/w that dish is still having problems getting this started. Why advertise this if it is not...

I hope this is not a known issue (bug). I too have noticed this problem earlier. For some reason when I go to ch. 388, there is a blank screen, but if I scroll up or down to an active channel then go back to ch. 388, then there is a dish hdtv slate with background music.......rolou21.

As of 2pm...7-2-07, did not see any trigger impulse to to go the local weather. It looks like the trigger was removed. I have seen the blue dish icon and it showed the dish ch. 100 twc weather bar. They may still be testing, but I did not see any slideshow that was responded from earlier...
