    VHF Lo Reception on VHF-Hi/UHF Designed Antennas

    I use the Stellar Labs deep fringe VHF high antenna and our rf channel 16 went to channel rf2 and picks it up fine.

    Although I have both antennas, i do not use the UHF one. The 30-2476 picks up my UHF fine. I personally think it is the best antenna on the market right now.

    Outdoor UHF antenna issues

    Are you buy chance in a repack area and using a UHF only antenna? If so your stations might now Be VHF.. Although you will get signal on a UHF it won't be good. If all else fails, try a Stellar labs VHF High deep fringe antenna, it receives UHF well and is dirt cheap.

    Hogwash, we are talking receiving, if we were talking transmit I would agree. I have been a ham for 40 years and know antennas. If you are so almighty right, why do I receive other frequencies in the UHF band so well?
