This phenomenon only happens twice a year. Once in the spring and again in the fall. The satellites and the sun line up and the noise of the sun in the dish overwhelm the satellite signal for a few minutes. I always like to see this because I know that spring is just around the corner.

Well it's kinda like the ground hog thing, I saw the shadow of my feed in the center of my dish today. That is a good thing cause it means warm weather is on the way. :)
