    My wife of many years wants a DVR for her TV which is not of the HD type. She wants to DVR some of her shows which come on after she goes to bed. What suggestions do any of you have for an inexpensive DVR for her to use and where I can locate one used or new?

    Can the Dish box be connected to a desktop computer so it can be seen on the computer monitor? What equipment would be needed to do this. I have a VIP 222 box a computer with a HDMI input plus a tv tuner in my new PC.

    Where can I find a good useable listing of Dish channels and program guide. The Zap to it is no good, Titan TV is missing a lot of channels, and the Dish on screen guide won't show some channels I am receiving? Any help will be appreciated.

    Vip 222

    I had a 222 installed on 12-14-07 and have had many problems with it freezing up. Dish has been back to my home twice since the 14th and I still have the problem. I have to reboot the receiver 6 to 8 times a week. Should I ask Dish to replace the 222 receiver? Is anyone else having this problem?
