    Whats the procedure to transfer from a vip622 to a 722k? There's a local guy selling a used 722k receiver and just wondering do I just need to call dish and activate it? What if there's a balance on the box or something?

    Anyone else w/ lost signal in Chicago?

    I just subscribed to dish this month and I've been having issues with Sat 129 so the techs came out and peaked my signals for 129, now with the snow I've lost all channels. My levels were in the 90s+ for 129,110 & 119, is this normal for dish? Is there a larger dish? I've had direct tv before...

    Chicago HD Locals (on 129?)

    Are the chicago HD locals on sat 129? I had Dish installed about 2 weeks ago and the chicago local HD channels keep pixelating/breaking up. The sat strength for 129 on my system is only around 50-55 for most transponders, mabye around 65-70 for transponder 12(I think is the chicago locals)...

    Confused about 622

    Can the 622 record 2 HD shows at the same time? or Watch and record 2 different HD channels? I only have 1 tv(HD) and with the comcast DVR I can watch/record 2 channels at the same time in HD. Do the Dish DVRs do this as well?

    Somone who has D* HD or E* HD how does it compare to voom?

    I'll probably upgrade my DirectTV IRD to DirectTvHD when/if Vomo sevice shuts down, but I've heard the HD quality on DirectTV sucks, not to mention limited HD channels. Does anyone have both DirectTV HD(or Dish) and Voom? If so how does the picture quality compare to Voom on the HD...

    523(scifi) channel showing Bravo channel

    Anyone else having this? I tune to 523, scifi, and it's the bravo channel...I tune to 502 bravo channel and it's bravo.... :cool: Usa channel does the same thing, cept to some other channel.... :eek: Weird...

    If you don't pay your bill, do you still get OTA channels?

    When voom suspends or cancles your account do you stop receiving the local OTA channels as well? I got my bill the other day, not sure if I should pay it, but I still want to use the reciever for the locals.... I'd make a payment, but website doesn't allow you to make a payment anymore...
