Oh I have one of those too. It blocks 2-72. Was used for internet only service before all the channels were encrypted. Can still be used to prevent receiver sharing to internet only addresses. I'm not sure what the notch filter blocks because I've tested it on the line and can't find...

But the question is what channel(s) does it filter? I'm guessing it would be used by a hotel or hospital to mix the local analog CATV service and add in some of their own channels on the same line feeding the rooms?

Thank you. That fixed C-SPAN but it still does not add channels like NewsMix, SportsMix, and KidsMix. Too bad the streaming app can't just let you make your own mix channels.

I'm subscribed to the satellite service but I use the DirecTV streaming app on extra TV's and I must mention that several channels I have on the satellite service are missing from the streaming app. Most notably, C-Span.

Not everyone lives somewhere with internet access (or at least uncapped access that's fast enough for streaming). Hope someone offers a new 5DTV C-Band option when DirecTV and DishNet go defunct.

Run a PLEX server with a OTA turner (dual or quad recommended) then play them from that on your TV's with any streaming device that supports the PLEX app.

That's only a 5 minute preview. Requires you to "connect to your TV provider" and DirecTV is not even a option on that if it were in my subscription. They have no option to pay them directly for access.

I can't believe NewsNation (ex WGN) is not part of "basic cable" (Select/Entertainment). I watched Chris Cuomo's new show was on YouTube and I doubt every future episode will be on there so now I'm really needing the channel and to upgrade to Choice would be over $20/mo more due to the RSN fee...
