I've not tried ESPN3D, but Uverse does have a few VODs in 3D. Tried preview image was top to bottom split. If I'm in 3D mode on Sony HX it is still top bottom. If I go to 3D menu on the set, there are several simulated options, including top bottom. This works on Uverse and appears better...

Our local Fox network is a class A low power station. They pip the national HD feed to local cable. As Uverse is a landed entity, we now get Fox national feed in HD.:D Direct didn't have any HD feeds and Dish all but Fox.

In Sony's patent applications for sequential imaging is one for 2 separate channels (Think A and B glasses with earbuds) on the screen in HD 2D at the same time.:D I can watch Football and my wife can watch HGTV, full screen on the same tv at the same time.:D

The Sony NX800 looks good as you would expect a high quality 240HZ would look. The HX800 with its improved backlight looks even better. The XBR52HX909 shouldn't be displayed with other sets. It belongs in its' own world. Wow! :D
