    Yep, me too... We had 2 silver VIP 222s, and loved them due to the plethora of audio/video inputs & outputs, which have been removed from newer models. When we canceled Dish in October, due to moving into a condo, Dish told us to toss the 222s... Felt horrible doing so, as they still work so...

    My advice is... Don't juggle more than 3 receivers at a time... You'll always end up breaking the 4th on your head... or your head on the 4th... Same goes for chainsaws, machetes, and baby Great Whites...

    Maybe set the audio from Dolby Digital to PCM in the Joey settings... if possible (no idea what the settings are on newer equipment).

    Yup, I have tried that, no go... :( And another yup, none of those switched channels you listed above are showing correctly on my 222... and they were moved on May 4th, the start of this thread... Looks like that's what's causing the problem, crodrules... Thanks for all the detective work...

    I watch my HD channels set to normal also... I usually watch my SD channels zoomed, unless the program was originally broadcast as 4x3. I watch 4x3 programs with the gray bars as it keeps the aspect ratio correct and helps prevent plasma burn-in on my TV...
