    Luken Communications Translators Saga

A TV that I use in one of these ex-TBN/now-Luken markets scanned in an analog signal on of one of these channels about 12 months ago or so. By the time I noticed it, the signal was gone. It does seem like they're trying to at least hit the minimum operation requirements to keep the license...

Atlantic City loses its NBC affiliate

Back in the day, Channels 3 and 10 (which shared NBC with at different times) came in pretty good along the shoreline. Those were the analog days, not sure that is still the case. I used to pull Channel 10 (WCAU) in with rabbit ears, when I lived on the oceanfront. I always got at least 2...

…and Grit TV is on KOMO 4.3 in Seattle. Disappointed about KBCB. Getting SBN on 3 channels now!

    Daystar O&O stations going HD?

    Still SD in Seattle!

    Fox buying station in "Seattle"

Sorry for the delayed response! I missed it earlier. KBCB's 24.3 went away. SD of the shopping network moved from 24.3 to 24.2. We had two 24.3's for a little while. KRUM also had one, along with a 24.4.

    Fox buying station in "Seattle"

Minor correction to the article: Estrella has been gone for about a year (+/-). Maybe Fox actually wants a bad OTA signal in Seattle? Retransmission fees are a big part of the business model. I tend to agree with you here-- there's probably more to the story. Could it be a 10 million dollar...
