It does still require a 7 dollar a month lease fee I suspect there is a typo on the recording ability piece as this does not add a tuner. It runs exactly like a mini. It’s the same OS as the Osprey box but instead of a Stream app it has a custom Sat app so to speak

I have a friend who works there also and she said the opposite. They are hoping to work out a deal for the commercial rights but the same problem remains with regards to weather they came even just break even on it. The hope is that they can work something in with the new NFL Network contract...

Dish’s GUI looks like a 1980’s Nintendo game. DIRECTV tried the better gui and even though I thought it handled it fine. Everything complained about the speed and they changed it again Until DIRECTV upgraded hardware don’t expect anything different
