    North TX Date Change

    FIOS has changed the date the new channels will arrive here in NTX. Looks like the date has moved up a couple of days from the 8th to the 6th.

    Verizon Adding Olympic Channels

    It looks like Verizon is adding a few more channels for the Olympics. So far, CNBC-HD is showing up on channel 879, USA-HD is on 884, regular CNBC is on 918 and something called "live Soccer" is active, but just showing color bars on channel 896. My Tivo hasn't alerted me to these new stations...

    New Audio-Only Channels

    In addition to the usual "Music Choice" channels we're now getting, we're apparently going to get an additional 47 brought to us by MTV. They're on in the Dallas-Ft Worth area at this time. Not sure how many other areas have it yet. Channels 647 - 694. The MC channels still occupy the lower 6XX.

    Upgrade to 622

    Please forgive a total rookie, but I've searched the various threads and can't find an answer to my question. I've had a 942 since last Oct and have had no problems whatsoever. The installers will be out (in theory) on Tuesday to swap out the 942 for a 622 and my Dish 500 for a 1000. My...
