    What happens to SD locals after Friday?

    Although they have been uplinked for a full three years, it appears that Dish has failed to reach a re-transmission of digital signal agreement with both the FOX and NBC stations in Anchorage. When their analog signals go dark on Friday, will we lose our SD locals for those two stations?:confused:

    129 in Alaska?

    Has anyone been able to successfully acquire a decent signal from the 129 sat in Alaska? I brought this question up a while ago and have been wondering if anyone has tried it lately.

    Dish 1000 in Alaska?

    Has anyone sucessfully installed a Dish 1000 in Alaska? It appears that Alaska is included on the Dish 1000 footprint chart. I would love to get Voom up here, but the wife says two dishes are enough! (119 & 148) Anybody have a comment?
