Anyone have any luck viewing content on clients from a networked DVR other than the HMC (e.g. HR24)? I can see them in the playlist of the clients (a step closer) and it attempts to play back, but I receive an error on every nonHMC recording saying something about no audio or video packets...
Trying to playback recordings from my HR24 on my C31. For all recordings, I get a please wait sign...then a do you want to delete screen...then an error that reads no audio or video packets received from server.
I reset C31...same result...thoughts?
I have a Genie, 2 clients, and an HR24. I have internet from my router directly into HR34 receiver. I have unplugged CCK which was installed at my HR34 location. What functionality am I missing by not having CCK connected?
Anyone else experiencing real sloooow response times replaying recordings from other DVRs? Looks like I received 0x5d3 last night at 3 am. Noticing severe speed degradation while using 30skip and 6 second back while playing recordings from other DVRs. I don't notice degradation while playing...
Lost whole home and needed to reboot. I rebooted from menu. Had 2 recordings in progress. After restart the recordings didn't resume. Do I have a setting incorrect?
Using HR34 and HR24...do recordings disturbed during a hard reset auto resume? Just switched from Dish and this was a nice feature especially when receiver rebooted (power outage, etc...) and we were not home.
I have both an HR34 (with 2 clients) and HR24. Installer connected the router to the CCK and it seemed to cause my router to go in and out often. I removed the router connection from the CCK and plugged it directly into the HR34. I haven't seen any issues since I changed the wiring and all...
Scheduled install today to switch from Dish. Issue with install was location of dish and volume of feeds from dish to house wasn't adequate based on equipment requested. I currently have ONLY 2 RG6 feeds from DISH to the house and ordered the following Directv equipment:

BTN dropped by DISH has driven me to the point of moving to DirecTV. Not familiar with DirecTv and need recommendations to simulate my DISH setup.

Currently I am running 2 VIP722 with only 2 lines coming in from satellite into house sending 4 separate signals to the 722s (2 TV1's, 2 TV's) through a couple diplexers. We would like to add another VIP722 for home theater and bedroom in basement that are separate signals from the other 2...
Current setup:

TV1 = Toshiba rear projection 55 inch HDTV Ready (running component video directly to tv due to proximity) w/OTA antennae (indoor sitting in bay window) attached to 942 receiver. Signal works great and can pull all local channels. I currently DO NOT subscribe to...
I assume by combing the TV2 signal (non-HD) and the OTA signal that you will only pull non-HD channels from the OTA...correct? How do the OTA channels integrate with the satellite guide on TV2 or do they?
I have two HD tvs and one Dish 942. I have 2 separate OTA tuners (indoor) that work just...
I currently lease a Dish 942 w/out HD...using only for OTA (and can get all locals). Just added another HD TV. Would you buy another 942 to get OTA to new HD tv? OR buy an additional 622 and tradeup the 942 for the 622 to Dish? Any suggestions?
Need some install advice....here is my current setup:
DISH 942 TV1 - HDTV in basement (external antenna OTA connected as well)
DISH 942 TV2 - SD ran to Bedroom (2nd story)
DISH 301 - Connected to TV in Office (2nd story)

I purchased 2 additional blue remotes for my DISH 942 receiver from ebay. They sent me 6.0 remotes instead of the 6.2 remote that came with the receiver. I ensured it was on the same remote address as my receiver and I was unable to get the remote to work. Advanced technical support from DISH...
