    CSHD to debut Jan. 1st

    Here in Augusta, GA we have a "banner" channel stating that the new COMCAST Golf Channel / VERSUS channel will begin on Monday. I was reading something about this channel a month or two ago but I cannot remember how much HD programing it will have(other than the NHL and actual golf tourneys).

    New HD channels?

    Has anyone gotten new Comcast HD channels recently? It has been a few months now.

    100+ HD channels?

    With DirecTv supposedly going to have 100+ national HD channels by late 2007, can we reasonably expect the same from Comcast? I would think that this has to be a concern for all cable companies. I know in my market HD seems to have taken a back seat to the Comcast phone service.

    MHD and Starz HD added in Augusta, GA yesterday

    What is funny is I was on the phone with a Comcast rep just the day before (about NFL Network HD) and I asked if we were going to get more HD channels added and he told me it would be next year. Go figure!
