I've got 3 508's with outdated smart cards. Have not had them active for +/- 5 years. I've looked at ebay and there is a fair number for sale. I see that the 508's are being replaced by Dish. Wondering if I might just be better off junking them. Any suggestions ? Thanks !

Can I downgrade to just Distant Network programming ? I have both east and west feeds and would consider keeping them, but I can't see E* just allowing a customer only having a $9.98 per month bill(which is what I am currently billed for this service).

At this point we do not have locals available, altoough the street scuttle is that they may be coming this fall. We have distant net feeds from both NY and LA. If and when locals are made available, can we still keep the distants ? Thanks.
