Locating Dish 119/118/110 Satellites with Satlink WS-6980? Will it work with Dish LNB?

It locks that he wants only one dish. If he add the 129 bracket and an old 500 dish single LNB can get at least few extra HD channels.

No thanks, I only need TVJAPAN HD with this Dish Antenna. I might maybe get the French channels later. I get everything else I need on Direct. :-D...

Locating Dish 119/118/110 Satellites with Satlink WS-6980? Will it work with Dish LNB?

Mid 60's and 70's are excellent numbers. You'll get no higher. Oh, ok. That's cool, thanks!! The last time I had Dish a good 10+ years ago, I could get signals way up to 110+%! But that might have been back in the analog days too, back then signal numbers of 60's or 70's were decent, but...

Locating Dish 119/118/110 Satellites with Satlink WS-6980? Will it work with Dish LNB?

It's ok, I spent much of the afternoon getting it dialed in with the Dish receiver and spare TV outside. The best I could do was get the signals between the mid 60's to the mid 70's on all three satellites, 119, 118 and 110; depending on the transponder I was on. It was getting cloudy, so the...

Locating Dish 119/118/110 Satellites with Satlink WS-6980? Will it work with Dish LNB?

Ok, thanks. I'm not sure if my Satlink will even work with the Dish LNB, so I guess I could go the alternate way. I could bring out the extension cords, spare TV, and reciever to dial it in, might save me hours of frustration when nothing shows up on the Satlink. I can get the elevation and...

Locating Dish 119/118/110 Satellites with Satlink WS-6980? Will it work with Dish LNB?

I have a Satlink WS-6980 Sat Meter, I want to use this to help me tune in the Dish Network Signals; with the newly designed Dish Plus 500+ LNB that has a built in switch. I will also be using the new Dish antenna designed for it. I already know how to set the elevation and skew, I can get those...

I saw that too, I'm looking forward to watching TVJAPAN in HD, maybe this weekend. [emoji3]

    Dish LNB Compatibility

I was told all international channels including TVJAPAN is on the Anik 118.7 satellite.

    Dish LNB Compatibility

Ok, well I ended up getting the brand new 500+ Dish Pro Plus LNB that gets the 119, 118 and 110, I think (latest version); it has the built in switches too. All I need to do is run the cable from the receiver to the LNB which would be easier and cheaper than getting the switches and power...

    Dish LNB Compatibility

By the way, I would only be using one Dish 211z receiver and one LNB in the pic I provided earlier for the 118 satellite. I wouldn't still need a switch or power inserter just for that, would I? :-)

    Dish LNB Compatibility

I do have two extra dishes I could use easy enough. Bad news is, my wife has a strict limit of no more than 3 satellite dishes on the roof or elsewhere. I'm at the limit of 3 dishes now on the roof, so I have to use and get by with what I already have. Even if I was to stack a 4th dish on top of...

    Dish LNB Compatibility

Any chance you could maybe post a pic of what you have? I have a few ideas in mind to get that LNB mounted to my FTA Dish, won't be easy like you mentioned. I just really need to make sure if that LNB would be the correct one for Dish International Channels before I buy it? I would guess it's...

    Dish LNB Compatibility

Hmmmm.... thats interesting. Ok, so if I get a LNB exactly like this one, and figure out a way to attach it to my 90cm Ku Band Dish, I can subscribe to the Dish International channels on the Anik 118 satellite, correct? :)

    Dish LNB Compatibility

Oh... :( Well, the only Dish International Package I was wanting to get for sure is the Japanese Package channel, maybe the French one later too. I'm trying to get the Dish Network Japanese International Package, without losing my Direct TV account that I'm otherwise very happy with. :) I'm...

    Dish LNB Compatibility

This is a real easy question for most of you. I'm thinking of buying a Dish 211z receiver to subscribe to international packages. Is the 211z reciever compatible with the Dish Pro or Dish Pro Plus LNB?? If not, what's the best Dish LNB can I use for this receiver for TVJAPAN for example? I have...

Dish Network Corp. (DISH) founder Charlie Ergen said he may permanently drop Time Warner Inc.

The only malfunction with that solution is Shaw Direct is strictly just for Canadian residents. They changed the satellite footprints to make it so. I wouldn't mind having Shaw Direct myself but since they want to have a Double Standard deal going on with us, I don't need their service. That's...

    New Roof

I was told, or saw on a different website that sells roof mounts, you will need a different roof mount for a steel roof, the regular one won't work for a steel roof. I don't have the website name with me, it's on my laptop. Anyway, if you do decide to go with a steel roof, try to google around...

    New Roof

I have wondered the same thing too for our roof. We may not need a new roof for a good long while yet, but I figured they would just re-shingle around the mount, but I would try to call and ask them if possible. :-)
