    Sounds like you have a switch instead of a splitter. A splitter does just that, splits a signal to multiple outputs simultaneously, whereas a switch allows you to select which of multiple outputs it is sending a single signal to (i.e. one at a time).     Fox can't be bothered giving us a NASCAR Cup Series broadcast in 4K...an established sport with large nationwide following...but they can do USFL games in 4K while they line up to be the next failed attempt at spring pro football. EDIT...I stand corrected by the article in the next post. :)

    Admittedly, I'm not familiar with DirectTV Stream. Out of curiosity, if it is an Android TV device similar to these new Dish Android boxes, does it also force SD viewing to be stretched, or does it allow the user to adjust the aspect ratio similar to what native Dish receivers allow?
