    What I don't get about putting it in high tier packages (and them not being on dish and directv in the first place) is the fact that nearly every single one of these channels is the lowest costing channels per subscriber. On the 2009 sheet, half of them cost $0.01 each.

    They'll occasionally throw in a couple of videos with the new graphics. Not sure why or If it's on purpose. They've been doing it the past couple of weeks.

    Looking at the video now () it appears to be a US unique thing. I'd be fine with it if they actually utilized much of their library, not just a few shows and kept videos in the morning.     Tribune Broadcasting Company Blacks Out DISH Customers in 33 Markets;

    I bet the religious channels pay too. There are plenty of fledgling channels out there that would love to be on a big provider like dish or directv (like national versions of the digital sub channels) so they could get more exposure and direct response $$. If they could just go on for free...

    Conventions

    Is there any word on whether or not dish will be televising the republican national convention and/or the democratic national convention as their own independent channel? I'm pretty sure they've done it in the past and i figured they would have a press release or something by now as the rnc...
