SMH @ DISH. At the end of the day they have to make a decision. Will adding the channel(s) cause them to lose more subs than not adding them? Considering they are already losing subs due to 1) cost and NOW 2) content, this seems like a poor business decision at best and stupidity at worst...

It makes for a smaller tailgating option that allows for both 99 and 103. I used the Phase III as many in that thread did but getting both 99 and 103 is a challenge for me for whatever reason. Therefore I want to go with this slightly larger option without buying a bunch of new parts.

Crazy question I know......but will the LNB arm from a DISH 500 fit onto a 1000.2 ? I realize it won't be long enough but I'm more curious if the 4 holes in the 1000.2 reflector will match with those from the 500. Thanks

agree. As I told the CSR when I canceled yesterday, if you are going to pull programing then you at the very least need to reduce my bill. Especially for those under contract.

Dish won't have a business to model if it continues to cut off its nose to spite its face. FOX knows those that want to see their shows can simply switch carriers. Why should they care about this issue with Dish? FOX carries all the leverage.

All I can say is ditto....I already made the call and will have FSNHD and ESPNUHD come the weekend. Oh, and I will have more at 59.99/mo than I'm getting with $110/mo now with Dish. I can't thank Charlie enough for making this decision easy for me.

I agree that loss of content is worse than having HD taken away. But it is still a snowball effect with regard to sports. I realize everyone doesn't care about sports but, for those that do, Dish is practically begging them to leave. Dish had to know these two sports related issues coupled...

Just signed up for DirecTV.......I was going to do it over ESPNU-HD but this RSN stuff was icing on the cake.

They have until November at the latest for me. No way I'm missing ACC hoops on FSN and I was already upset about having ESPNU in sd.

DirectTV would be nuts not to offer an incentive for Dish customers to switch. I'm holding out for such an offer.

This thing better be resolved before NCAA basketball season gets started. Living in ACC country, there are several games on FSN. I can live with ESPN-U in SD (for now, that needs to hurry up as well) but NO FSN will drive me over the top.

Well I pissed and moaned earlier but after talking it over with the wife I have decided to stay put for now. The dual tuner DVR and the familiarity with our equipment and tailgating setup was the deciding factor. I have to assume this will be resolved soon and hopefully ESPNU-HD will as well...

I haven't changed yet....I need to get some specifics about their DVR options. Besides, I wouldn't call to cancel Dish until DirectTV was up and running.
