    just be aware that you may have to run a check switch on your wally but it may go through multiple checks from the "legacy" lnb so it may check from 29 to 38 tests just don't be caught off guard.

    The lnb that nelson 61 posted should work just fine, you'll just have to take the plastic outer (gray) casing off and it will look very similar as the one you have mounted now.

    It is a heat related issue that is outside the electronic allowances of the lnb, basically think of it as a car driving outside the lines on a highway. I've replaced many over the years for customers that I've been the 4th or 5th tech out and had it fixed in ten minutes, yeah they were skeptical...

    If it hasn't received current software it probably will overnight and I'm guessing it'll be fine in the morning after the update. I've had several that acted just like you're describing. I think the software is just out of date enough that the hopper sees it as a foreign piece of equipment...
