    No locals?

So (in your case) it's not possible to watch the Networks with Dish? It's totally different in Canada. There's no such things as locals or spot beams with BellTV for example. Everybody get all the networks from all the cities, which is redundant at some point though...

    No locals?

Of course I pay for Canadian TV and all the good US shows are on the Canadian networks anyways. I don't care about locals really, all I want is to have NBC as they show some hockey games. (unless I could get Boston and then have NESN to watch my Bruins!) I was just curious to know what happens...

    No locals?

Of course. This is all hypothetical like I said... lol...

    No locals?

Ok, Let's say hypothetically... A Canadian guy find a broker to subscribe to Dish Network and they told him, sorry "no locals". First, how is that possible? And, Does this mean that NBC, CBS, ABC, etc. wouldn't be available at all? There's no "nationals" like NY or LA or...

switching from 110 and 119 to 72.7 and 77 satellites.

Probably not your case but I was checking "The List" the other day and it seems to me that some channels are missing if you switch 110/119/129 to 61.5/72.7/77. Channel #852 for example on 110? (spanish) It doesn't seem to be on 77. Etc. And some others.. perhaps I'm wrong though. :-)

    72.7 + 61.5 + 110 ?

I'm trying to find a cheaper solution, if possible but of course I'll consider to buy and install a 1000.4 , it all depends how much the DPP Twin + DP dual\single would cost me.

    72.7 + 61.5 + 110 ?

Thanks, thought the List was for FTA only. That was good info. It seems actually that the spanish channels are on 77 (and on 110) so I'll need to point one lnb to one of those. Just need to find a DP dual or single.

    72.7 + 61.5 + 110 ?

Ok thanks, wasn't sure what was on 77 exactly. I'm pretty sure I need 110 for the spanish channels though.....

    72.7 + 61.5 + 110 ?

I'm trying to find the easiest solution (and cheap). First, what's on 77? Only foreign languages? I have 2 Bell 20" with legacy lnbs. (SW64 are hard to find and pricy) I plan to buy a vip612 only. 129 could be hard to get here for me. So I thought 72.7 and 61.5 would get what I need...

    Legacy type LNBs

Ok, thank you. (Trying to find a cheaper solution then the "one dish". )

    Legacy type LNBs

Yes! oops... I noticed too late. Sorry.

    Legacy type LNBs

Just wondering if the BellTV LNBs (Legacy) work with today's VIP receivers?

    Oh that's nice then! Thanks.

    Packages

Just seems to me that they are "core" packages. You can't add the spanish channels to a Top250 for example.. unlike DirecTV. Am I right?

Coming to D***, what do you recommend?

    ??? I don't get it.

I was checking their website and I'm trying to figure something. Latino Max has 255 channels (is it 35 or 55 in spanish?) T250 has 260 channels. Anyhow, you don't have as many english channels with the Latino package... Trying to figure out how to get some spanish channels for my wife...

Coming to D***, what do you recommend?

What's up with the *** ? I don't get it. Dish isn't a long or prohibited word as far as I know?
