Yeah mainly premium movie channels seem to be lacking in HD. I remember back when Dish used to kill D* in premiums.

Don't reset your receiver or any of that stuff. Simple answer, I don't know why people are willing to type it, is Dish does compress their feeds more than some providers. That being said they compress it less than others (U-Verse). It's not your TV, or your receiver. It's just how it is. Simple...

I spoke with a rep that told me tvgn is in hd on channel 4391 however I haven't been able to find anything online confirming this. Can anyone check and let me know? Don't have hoppers hooked up at the moment.

Same issues here last night on certain channel. Universal HD for one, switched inputs to U-Verse and put it on the same channel and not a issue there so its definitley Dish.

Yes getting this and its very very annoying. I fast forward to where I want and it jumps either 15-20mins forward when I hit play or skip back a huge time block. The only work around is to use the 30 second skip button over and over. Annoying as hell.
