It seems when I have called during the week days 8-5 I always get a US based csr but when I call after hours or on the weekend I have been getting india...however I don't call in that much that's just what I have seen.

I completely agree with you. Tomorrow I'm calling in again for one more try then if the indian speaking csr tries to screw me I will just ask to cancel. It's their loss because I'm more than willing to continue my sub for many years. It's not like it's the only choice I have for tv. OTA and FTA...

I just signed up and they wouldn't let me use club dish. I was a customer in 2002. I had to pay for the 622 upgrade 199 and 50 for activation. *doh

We didn't reboot it right away... installed it, checked levels and than ran a check switch. it came out ok and was left sitting for 30-45 mins before he started a soft and hard reset. than left site for another 30 mins. it was pretty long. owell it works good now.

everything worked out good! the installer even had a superdish to dish1000 converter with him. now off to watch all the hd!!! :D

Well just got installed. I had a really good installer. However, it was still quite a long install. I pre-ran all the wires and the backfeed wires for the 622 and 322 so the installer had a smile when he came in. My appointment was 12-5 and he came at 12:08! I couldn't believe it!! Got the 322...

I think it's around 13.89 x (no. of mo's left). Good luck getting out of your contract. Call customer retention and tell them you are unhappy. they may get you a programming deal or hardware.

I did the online order and I was called the next day. Try chatting online with customer support. they might be able to help you. I went into dish builder and on the first or second page at the bottom is a chat button.

quick question on the 622. I know that tv2 uses the uhf remote so it can be used in another room. can the main tv1 remote be used in a uhf mode? I have a home projector screen that drops down out of the ceiling and it covers the IR eye's so only uhf will work when I'm using it. would I have to...

thanks for the replies! yes the dtv was installed and it's been trouble free for over a year. I installed it mysel and I know it's tight and level. ;)
