Wow I had almost the same problem and results except no dish moving http://www.satelliteguys.us/threads/288090-L725-on-722 I got a 722K with no OTA Module. I called Dish and they shipped me one UPS Blue at no charge. All happy here

Dish was here as I have a service contact (I forgot to cancel it) He measured the signal and it was fine, he swapped out with a 722K and levels are normal now.

I had the same problem with my 722, and my DVR functions were also very erratic. After countless calls and reboots I finally got a tech that told me it was a bad hard drive. I replaced the unit and it started downloading that evening and now have 23 VOD titles.

Is anyone having problems with the Spotbeams on this bird? My signals are terrible, and my local networks are poor. for instance transponder 5 is normally 86 and is now 37. tpd 13 is only in the teens.(That is the one my locals are on) The signals from the "new bird" are fine at 61.5.... 72 ,77...

Received another VOD last night it was in the regular guide grid, ch 501, but when I hit the VOD button on the remote it wasn't there, and the menu got very sluggish and locked up. I agree totally! The $.99 1080p deal was sweet. It just bothered me that they were disappearing and that was symptomatic of other problems that would probably get worse. It is great to have my DVR scanning properly again however

My replacement 722 received 3 VOD titles last night and all the scan features work fine now. I am sharing this symptom (VOD titles disappearing) for Hard drive failure because it took several calls and chat sessions before I got a tech to acknowledge that the drive could be causing this.

I just barely, (this morning) got done replacing my 722 for the very same problem, I also had been steadily losing my VOD titles. I tested the scan features a few times and the new unit seems to be fine
