    DPP44 and DP34 together?

Just to let you know the DPP Quad that bell has works on both Bell's systems and Dish's Systems, the only difference is the DPP Quad is not identified in check switch as a DPP Quad it shows up as a LNB 2 Sat/w separator (if you have a separator connected) and "LNB 2 Sat" if you have a single...

Reuse-DBS Stacked LNBF for 129? Proper Feehorn?

The Purpose of this project is to reuse what I have, and not how to hack saw a version of the DP LNBF onto my dish, the dish itself requires the LNBF to me mounted close to the mount at the bottom, If I do what you told me to do I have a feeling and im pretty certain I am right about this one...

Reuse-DBS Stacked LNBF for 129? Proper Feehorn?

I wish I had access to an LNB like that, The other idea I had was to cut up a DTV LNB, flatten the edge of it with a grinder and then bolt it on, but it would be ideal if the proper feed-horn could be located. Thanks once again for all your replies! much appreciated

Reuse-DBS Stacked LNBF for 129? Proper Feehorn?

I want to do the opposite and use the DBS LNBF for 129 on a 30" dish with a round mount and reuse this LNBF, I have seen the mods for getting 118 from the 105 or 121 LNBF, but it would be fantastic if you could find it!, your efforts for looking are much appreciated, I know the kiddies have...

Reuse-DBS Stacked LNBF for 129? Proper Feehorn?

Thanks Iceberg for the reply, The sad part is I do not have the original horn from the 121 dish, It was scrapped a while back, I have been pondering if such a thing exists just for DBS though, the best I can come up with is the Eagle Aspen LNBF for direct-tv international but that is the wrong...

    722 burned up maybe

EDIT: I stand corrected, it isn't a fuse it is a surge suppressor, and not a fuse, never replaced one or touched one personally so I wasn't entirely sure, To me it seemed like a newer style fuse more compact but again I stand corrected, Thanks!

    722 burned up maybe

All be critical about this "IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING OR HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF ELECTRONICS AND THERE INTERNALS AND INTERNAL VOLTAGE, I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND OR CONDONE OPENING OR MODIFYING ANYTHING INSIDE" Now that this is out of the way, yes there is an internal fuse inside, its...

hdcp issue with tv2 and component tv1 vip622

From what I understand, If TV1 is connected via HDMI and the TV is ON, TV2's HBO will work normally, but if you turn OFF TV1 and then try on TV2 to go to HBO you will get the error because TV1 is OFF and no HDCP is being sent because the TV1 is off, This why I keep stressing to Dish that this is...

    National Geographic on 72.7

Not normally done but you could do a DP21-DPP44 setup and see all five satellites, 119,110,118,61.5,72.7 good if you have only a single or dual tuner receiver (only one of either) not an ideal setup but I had it setup at one point with 119,110,129,118 and 61.5 but is it possible to perhaps mount...

Need help connecting a DPP44 Video Path

Your right partly that it doesn't matter, but its better to have it in the correct order as intended incase an older box was connected, the order usually is 119=Port 1, 110=Port 2, 129=Port 3, and if you have 118=Port 4 (Port 4 is clearly marked use for FSS Connection), the OP hasn't told us...

But it doesn't even see my television which IS HDCP complient!! thats the most frustrating part, and how can you downgrade an already analog input on TV2, from what Scott and the others have mentioned here on the forum is that TV2 would not be affected at all and would not be a cause for concern...
