Well, I shifted most of my programming to comcast after being a E* sub for 6 years. I was paying $100 per month. Now I only have HD/CBSHD/HBO/SHO and pay $28. The moment I get my hands on an HD DVR from comcast (1-3 weeks) E* is GGGGOOOOONNNNEEE and I am selling my 921. FREAK!

Do your predictions have any insider info to back it up or is this just some speculation? I predict that if Dish does do something pretty radical (more channels than or comparable to Comcast) I will drop them like a load of crap. FREAK!

I just became one of those. I used to pay about $95/month now I am down to $28. I signed up for comcast platinum with the dish win back deal ($25 credit per month) so in essence, I get it free. FREAK!

Just to fuel the fire a bit, Matt Stevens posted this at AVSforum: Any plans for any expansions in the 921 are scrapped. It is, in effect, a dead receiver. Once the software is stable, that will be it. The OTA Guide info promised for late 2004 is also scrapped. They are just dropping support...
