I was looking for the DTVpal TR50 on Sears' site but couldn't find it so bought Magnavox 2160A instead for $198, it's a combination DVR & DVDR that records like a VCR.

Still hangs. Very intermittent, selecting connect - disconnect - connect gets it going again but may take several tries.

The Slingplayer simultaneously downloaded an update while running on one of our laptops going from version 2.0.3.508 to 2.0.4.521 today. Haven't tried testing it yet, currently running second laptop to see if it gets the update request. Anxious to test it out.
