    i was on a retail sight. they sold a copper 4 foot ground rod. says approved for direct t.v. and dish network. whats the deal guys...right or wrong ???

    Dish 622 Some TV2 Channels are Snowy

    check each connector and make sure that nothing is touching the copper wire. if one hair of the braiding is touching then you will get snow on the picture.

    Im wondering which satellite meters you techs are using and why you like em. Loved mu birdog when i was with direct t.v. but it doesn't work so well powering a dish pro plus...:confused:

    i need a good sat meter for installs ?

    its getting old. doesn't hold charge so good anymore. birdog site says its not strong enough to work with DP pro plus. i get the 119 and 129 half of the time but not the 110. says it needs the receiver hooked to provide proper power.

    is there a good sat finder that will power the dish pro plus and 1000.2 dish and lnb.. my birdog doesn't provide enough power without having a receiver also hooked up for additional power....thanks in advance for your help

    its 121 here in indiana. the mount is dead level and the birdog shows all three with a fine signal, thanks for your input my friend

    the birddog is programed to see each one as well as many others. 99% on 110, 99% on 119 and about 70% on 129... i just dont get it, thanks anyway friend

    it shows 110 next 119 next just a dead X like you wood on dvr only with 500 dish....the birddog is programmed to find the 129 and if i hook it up to the coax just before the seperator...it still shows a good signal. ive changed lnb also the separator and as i said before, my own hi def dvr at...

    p.s...i also took my own hi def dvr to the customers home and the check switch only gave mine the 110 and 119 but not the 129 even though its fine on my system......i give up...lol
