I think the only way to get the two HR-24's is to buy them. Would DTV even activate the HR-24? DTV would send out either the HS-17 or HR-54, Mini's and the new Gemini with built in streaming apps for new installs.

I guess you are worried about if the server goes down you would lose your recordings? If not, you can use the DTV app as backup until a replacement server would be sent out.

The HR-24 is slow compared to the HS-17, HR-54 and Mini's.

I don't like that it boots into this screen first and then you have to select the channel. Or use the previous or back button. I replaced a Mini with the DTV APP on a bedroom TV.

I wonder if they will ever get the DTV App to be just like the Mini and also have the same channels, I wouldn't care about adding the shopping and informercial channels. Also add DTV Cinema. I guess if they did that DTV would charge $7 a month for that?

I had the Gemini and returned it because it made HD look too dark. They need to bring back turning HDR On/Off. I think they got rid of because you had to reboot the Gemini after turning it off.

I didn't like that the Gemini forces HDR on all the time. HDR make HD look dark. They had the ability to switch it off then they removed it. Plus, Paramount+ kept crashing.

I noticed using the Edge browser in full screen on my desktop the browsers scroll line is still there. Also, PQ doesn't look that great.

Would they think paying $15, $7 after the first one free and up to $13.99 RSN would be worth it for channel numbers?

The Gemini has HDR on all the time. Some say it makes HD look to dark. They used to have an option to turn it off but they got rid of it.
