    Does the HR-21 have a receiver deca connected to the coax and plugged into the ethernet port? You would need a BB deca hooked up to your router and split via coax into your swm system, for internet connectivity.

    Unless that "splitter" is a 6x8, then that splitter is the problem. I've seen this happen many times, splitter works fine for years, month, even days, and then stops. They aren't designed for this use and shouldn't be used.

    Chances are, if you have another receiver in close proximity to the HR24, this could be receiving signals from that remote. i.e, hr24 in living room and d12 in kitchen or something close.
