    Sounds like they sent a wired deca which is built in to the hr24 and not the wireless, they need a wireless for that to work unless there is a cable tied to the system by the router and that would be where what they sent would go. Sent from my Note 8 using the SatelliteGuys app!

    I believe you can but with a penalty if you don't keep it for 6 months (i think). I've been out of the game for a bit now so things may have changed.

    could try port 3 or 4, once the connection is made pull the power from the hr34 and restart it.I've had splitters be bad right out of the box.

    try turning off the powersave mode on the tv or turning off the backlight feature on the tv.
