DirecTVs phase III dish 18X20 or 18X24 works good with the SL3 LNB. The aim is a bit tricky for 99 & 103 HD slots. You can get the LNB from Solid Signal for less than $50

If your local channels are provided in HD from DirecTV you can put a slimline 3LNB on a (18X20) phase III dish and do a normal tripod mount or bucket pole mount. This has worked for many apartment/condo type installs the 12 pound phase III dish is much lighter and smaller dish than the 32-35...

Round dishes are only good for one orbital slot like 101,If you want HD or local channels your going to need a slimeline or oval dish.:) Multi-Sat.

The phase III dish and 3 LNB module have not been discontinued,they are still used for SD equipment installs (101-110-119). HD installs use the Slimline 3 (99-101-103) or 5 dish (99-101-103-110-119) The Slimline 3 LNB can be mounted to the smaller phase III dish for HD reception...

It's been done already ,18 inch round dish mounted to a phase III arm and SL3 LNB. It only picks up (99 and 101) or (101 and 103) your choice you must realign the dish to swap birds. If you use the (18X20) phase III reflector you can get all three (99-101-103):)

Your OK but Ka bands 99(c) and 103(c) could be higher. 85 to low 90s is normal. (Mine are between 94 & 99 with a little extra tweaking)
