    There is too much TV to choose from nowadays. I can stream on Netflix, rent 1080p's on Vudo and timeshift off air channels on my HTPC and watch satellite. I thought I would cut down some of my choices by skipping the DVR.

    I'm disappointed it's not the lastest and sleekest and I'm starting a two year lease on a 2007 receiver. Doesn't look good next to my 3D TV and Harmon/Kardon receiver. What is SWM? Can I just buy the newer receiver and give D back this one. I know it's still a lease. I only have one TV hooked up.

    Just switched to Direct TV from Dish. I wanted to save some money so I skipped the HD DVR. I got a old used H21-200 receiver on the install. Can I get get them to give me a newer receiver? Is the one I got as good as the newer HD receivers. I just like newer stuff.

    How long ago was it? Direct TV was saying it was going to be the HD leader with something like 1000 HD channels on TV commercials.I see they stopped running that ad campaign.

    If you could run the wire down down to the basement on a inside wall with no fire break and up from there might work.

    If it is a inside wall, they are easier to fish because no fiberglass in the wall. It can be done. I would drop string into the wall and catch it with a hook at the other end.

    New remote for HD-SAT520

    I just purchased a new zenith remote from www.newremotecontrol.com for $44.95 including shipping. I would highly recommend them for anyone who wants an original remote for their refurbished receiver, that didn't get one. I got it in less than a week.

    What is the best equipment?

    I ordered a Zenith HD-SAT520 from value electronics friday, It must of been one of there last ones. I had a Dish 811 before I went to Voom. The SAT520 is why I went to D*. Should be here any day, can't wait to get it.
