    Has anyone been experiencing out of sync audio? It has happened twice now and both times, I was able to shut the HR44 off and turn it back on to cure the issue. Is this normal or is something going on?

    We are back in business! The installer came this morning and found the LNB was defective. He didn't like the patchwork cable either so he replaced it with one run from the switch to the DVR. Everything looks good now...hopefully no more 775 errors!

    Yeah, this is one reason I got a RC66RBX for my HR44...the RF doesn't work but I now have a backlit remote with full DVR control and control for my Blu-Ray player and surround sound receiver!

    I hope it isn't my HR44 receiver! I was damn lucky to even get it! The installer claimed to only have HR34's on the truck when I asked for an HR44 but decided to look and found 1 in his stock!

    It was initially but I moved it to the wall plug after the first occurrence. What gets me is that it worked sometimes but got progressively worse? Maybe the inserter is bad or the patchwork cable has a short somewhere?

    Curious as to how the Genie system works? Does the signal travel to and from the mini's both ways via coax cable or do the mini's run on wireless internet? Basically, how do the mini's communicate with the HR44?

    Codes are ok, here is what happens when I try to enter the tv code on the RC71...I do Mute/Select and wait for 2 blinks. I start to enter the code and the remote blinks red as soon as I press the first number of the code. I tried 900 times...LOL! I think the remote is bricked or something.

    For now, I swapped the RC66 from the Genie Mini in the game room with the RC71 from the HR44 in the Living room. I'm not crazy about the slide switch on the RC66 but it will do for now. I had an issue with reprogramming he RC71 for the Mini however...it works on the box but wont take any codes...
