Plus going to Dish you still will be getting the same HD channels showing 4:3 content most of the time! Your problem is not with D* but with the broadcasters. They are the ones upconverting SD into an HD feed.

Yes, that correct. In last years conference call BETHD was one of few new HD channels to be added. However, it is also one of few that is yet an HD channel to be develope but will in the future. My H20-600 did something like that! I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of pops, blue flashes of light and the smell of burning circuits. The freakin thing caught on fire! D* sent me a new one under a lease since that one was owned. Some of these units get too hot!
