It was probably a 501. I got mine in 2002 also. I don't blame you for leaving. I left over something similar. The way DISH does business has always rubbed me the wrong way. So far DTV has been great and wish I had switched a long time ago.

With all the problems DISH is having with getting these channels renewed I am so happy I changed back in the summer.

Same way with me. I switched to DirecTv this summer. I wish they had some type of symbol like DISH does to tell you that a game is blacked out on that channel. The pro sports are easy but with college it kinda of hit or miss with blackouts.

I was with DISH last season and even with them I was in the clear on every SEC game except the PPV one's. Just get the sports pack and you should get just about everything you want to see.

I just switched from DISH too. I got the sports pack free for a year along with all the movie channels. Call them and see what they can do for you. It's well worth it for the college sports. Not much of those are blacked out. If you live out of the area of your favorite team it's worth it too...
