i am also switching to dtv, the question i have is my dma which is johnstown/altoona pa does not have the hd channels available through dtv, can i automatically qualify for the hd distants from new york or do i have to request waivers. pajer

I am thinking of switching to dtv from dish, when i build my system online it says the 5 lnb slimline dish and 1 additional dish. i am getting the premier package with hd and sd locals (johnstown/altoona, pa) what is the need for the second dish and what dish and which programming will be on it...

my wife watches cmt sd all the time and will love it in hd, i have been with dish since 1997 but this is the last straw, i am calling dtv today and cancelling dish, goodbye charlie! the churn rate is only going to get worse if you don't keep up with dtv.

what is the cost of mlb ei on dtv at 1/2 price, dish just lowered it's price to 129 vs. the 179 for full season. that is ridiculous with the season over 1/2 over they are charging 72% of the full season price. i could accept 99 but not 129. i think i'll pass. dish is too greedy.
