I hope they don't add any channel now. Picture quality is clearly getting worse recently. The new bird will allow many new channels without sacrificing quality. 2nd quarter 2010 is when I expect new channels.

I can't see any reason whatsoever why the OP doesn't want to use Directv2pc. It works pretty well and is very user friendly. If he can use Windows Media Player, why not use Directv2pc ?

Just downloaded a HD movie from TMC , 90 minutes took only 2 hours. ATT DSL at 6 Mbps.

It's working on my 2nd HR22-100 but this thing is buggy. I had to press the red key several times on ch 603 and it's not working on ch 245 . On my 3rd HD-DVR it's not working at all.

I have 3 HR22-100. One has the red and yellow keys working fine. The 2 others don't have the red key working (no scoreboard). Do I need to do anything ?
