    well good luck with that one and be prepared to pay a lot more. At some point in the tangled web someone has paid for that programming with commercials that subsidize it. Take the commercials away and the price goes way up.

    I despise HDMI. I had to send my AV reciever in for repair because of the stresses that the cables put on the connection. Combine that with the digital lock down they impose with it, and the unbroken chain bologna and its the worst thing ever created.

    Tivo does have MRV working in Beta but I do not know about the D* Tivo model. I disagree with people just using whatever the cable company has. My 3- 1 TB premiere units + unprotected FIOS are pure nirvana.There is simply nothing better as any HD programming I pay for can be transferred to PC...

    I never had problems with CSR's. In my experience, its the installers that caused most problems.
