Hey guys....I most definately had a smoother/sofeter picture with the HDDVD The Last Samurai,once I did the update. I followed the instructions at the AVS forum......I unplugged the player,then Initialized it( it does wipe out all mod settings)..the powered of unit the ...finally powewred it...

Hey could my hooking both digital & analog together have tripped something inside the H/Kreceiver..the manual mentions about something faulting the circuitry boards and may have to reset it to factory conditions to correct problem.....I will try this only as my last option!

I love mine!!!!!I have it setup with Sanyo Z3......and have done a direct comparison by HDMI with HDA1 vs. Sony 995 maga changer.....The HDA1 wins hands down......The clarity seems surreal at first....I'm having only one problem with the HDA1...Its with the audio...I have the H/K 525 7.1...
