    You're making my point for me, closing the dialog doesn't cancel anything, nor does it approve it. The dialog states the date the upgrade is being done. Status quo is unchanged. Only shady point here is scheduling an OS upgrade like it's a simple Windows Update.

    It's a natural gating to the ordering, capping it at the number of Echos in circulation is all, for now. It's an Echo without the nicer speaker, it's standalone. The Echo doesn't process much itself, its 100% connected, voice processing aside from the wakeword isn't done on the device even.

    No problems with Windows 10 here after months of use aside from a video driver after buying a bleeding edge card. It's a solid OS even today.

    As they should, it's not even released yet and usually need to be out for some time to be vetted. Took me about 2 minutes to revert to my previous OS from the technical preview the other night.
