That's funny - I noticed the same thing. The Voom box has an excellent ATSC tuner as compared to the one built into my TV or my ATI HD Wonder card.

Maybe - but that's still less than half the HD that was availalble from Voom DBS. Take away the Voom 21 and the Voom DBS HD lineup STILL killed Dish's offering. It's sad :(.

I think the rumor is caused by the Starchoice boxes looking a lot like the Voom Boxes. As far as the Voom boxes are concerned, Rainbow-1 isn't there. 0 signal.

Why were you going after the LNB? Swapping it out for a Dish one? Dish is the only DBS I know of that asks for the LNB.
