    desertnight, what size dish are you using? I have no problems pulling in "this tv" on 87 with my 10 footer... i think its the strongest signal on the sat... also I used to get it with my 6 footer with no problems...

    coolsat5000 or coolsat6000 can auto move, and blind scan however many sats you select... just dvb-s, NOT dvb-s2 it works great, I use that feature all the time... it waits untill its on the next sat before continuing to scan. coolsat5000/6000 has very good motor control, and a quick blind scan

    channel is working fine on coolsat6000... strong signal. but it will only blind scan in when I select "3.7 and under" in the blind scan menu... it doesnt find it on a "full" scan... gonna check the pansat9200 and report back...

    its slow... but probably the most accurate scanner is a pansat9200 with the add on dvb-s2 tuner... the vantage is also good, and faster scanning, but misses a couple feeds now and then.. or you could get another openbox, but that doesnt tell you if a feeds is dvb-s or dvb-s2...
