    Great news today. Since I am tracking correctly all the birds from 61.5 to 129, I must be correctly aligned to this one too. I did another blind scan, check the tp with lyngsat. Got many that are listed correctly. So, I am aligned correctly. But still, I got channel on half the tp at most...

    What's More Important?

    Having a winegard 1m dish with the qph-031. Don't know the ideal focal point. But moving the lnb back and forth doesn't make any difference in both the strong and the weak transponder. For me, it doesn't matter. It work anyway.

    Arrrrgggghhhhh. Did as you said. port 1, lo 11250. Got lots of tp with way more channel than before. However, even if tp11 did show up after the blind scan, there is still no channel on it. Even if I do an auto scan ( scan only this tp ). What could be wrong ? By comparing the channel list...

    Thank you very much. If I had taked the time to read the "What can I get with an 18" dish or a Dish 500??" thread I would I found it. But I got a 1m dish. Don't know why, but the dish 500 title didn't catch my eyes on this one. I will give it a try. Let's hope Nasa is coming in on my viewsat...

    Hum... Maybe a mistake on my part. At least I was getting something on the Q meter of the viewsat. But the motor was set to anik f1. I was thinking that this was the info channel that coming in clear. In fact, I got no image, but got the Quality up to 95. Which is a start ( at least for me )...

    At last. Seem I got a bad disec switch. By moving the motor to anik f1. Disconnecting the motor and connecting the receiver directly to the lnbf, I got starchoice info channel coming in the clear. Will leave that there for the night and try another disec switch another day.

    I also used 107.3 (AnikF1)-11902 H 5859 or 11912 H 5859 for the alignment and did also tried 72 (AMC6)-12143 V 2573. No success with both of them. Afaik, I did install more than a few starchoice antenna. Those are not hard to install. It's not the case with this FTA kit. :confused:
